This policy explains how anti-money-laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) obligations are handled in connection with transactions initiated through the NorthBridge website.
Important — NorthBridge is a front-end interface. It does not itself collect KYC documentation or hold funds. Verification, where required, is performed by our Processing Partner, QuickEx, under its own AML/KYC program. This page describes both our own commitments and how that partner-level process fits in.
NorthBridge does not custody funds and is not itself the counterparty to your exchange transaction — our Processing Partner is. Because of this, primary AML/KYC screening for a given transaction is performed by the Processing Partner, based on its own risk-based thresholds (for example, larger transactions or unusual patterns may trigger a verification request within the widget itself).
Independently of our Processing Partner's own program, NorthBridge is committed to not knowingly facilitating money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or other financial crime through this site, and reserves the right to restrict access to the Service for any user or transaction we reasonably suspect is connected to such activity.
If the Processing Partner's system requests identity verification for your transaction, that request — and the handling of any documents you submit — is governed entirely by the Processing Partner's own KYC procedure and privacy policy, not by NorthBridge. We do not receive or store copies of any identity documents you may submit in that process.
You may not use the Service if you are:
[Insert your specific restricted-jurisdiction list here, aligned with your Processing Partner's own restrictions and your legal counsel's guidance.]
You are solely responsible for ensuring that any funds you exchange through the Service were obtained lawfully. By using the Service, you represent that you are not using funds derived from illegal activity.
We cooperate with our Processing Partner's compliance team and, where legally required, with law enforcement and regulatory authorities. We may share information about suspected policy violations with our Processing Partner to support its own monitoring obligations.
If you become aware of activity on this site that you believe may be connected to money laundering or fraud, report it to QuickEx directly at quickex.io/support, since they hold the transaction records and operate the compliance program that would act on that report.
NorthBridge may restrict or block access to the Service, without notice, for any user or transaction that appears to violate this policy, and may share relevant information with our Processing Partner or with law enforcement where legally appropriate.
We may revise this policy periodically to reflect changes in our processes, our Processing Partner's requirements, or applicable law.
NorthBridge does not operate a dedicated compliance inbox. Compliance-related questions about a specific transaction should go to QuickEx at quickex.io/support, as they operate the AML/KYC program that actually applies to your swap.
Publisher's note — AML/KYC obligations are jurisdiction-specific and carry real regulatory consequences if misrepresented. Have this reviewed by a qualified compliance professional, and confirm exactly what your Processing Partner's program actually covers, before publishing.
